We partner with the best manufacturers in the business to create our sofas. We offer furniture made to last, with classic designs that are well crafted using the finest natural materials

Our furniture is priced to offer the best possible value every day.  We set prices as low as possible and refuse to play the sales game, inflating prices and then holding sales to create a false sense of savings.

Do you publish a catalogue?
Because our offering of products is constantly changing we do not publish a catalog. Not producing a catalog helps us keep our costs down, which in turn allows us to offer the lowest possible price to you.

Do you have a clearance centre?
We currently do not have a clearance centre, however, we have an on-line clearance site. On-line you will find one-of-a kind items, slightly damaged items, floor models, and discontinued items, all discounted and priced to sell! Layaway and holds are not available on clearance items. All clearance items must be picked up within 48 hours.

Do you offer financing?
We offer the Backyard & Veranda Community VISA card. You can apply in store for the card. Items purchased on your Backyard & Veranda Community VISA card are charged on your account the day you purchase your furniture. You can then take 12, 24, or 36 months to pay for your purchase in equal monthly payments at very low interest rates - better then some credit cards! A one-time administration fee of $49 is due at time of purchase.

Do you sell gift cards?
We sell gift cards in any dollar amount. To purchase a gift card please visit one of our stores.

Do you offer a design service?
Backyard & Veranda offers "in-store " design service to any customer free of charge. All of our sales associates are trained to work with you in our stores on spatial planning, colour matching and accessorizing. We also now offer in-home consultations. Our trained style associates work on an hourly rate and can assist you in creating a custom look for your home.

Are franchise opportunities available?
Thank you for your interest in franchising. At the present time, we are a 100% company-owned stores and do not plan to franchise. Our dedication to quality and strict service guidelines mandate that we keep total control of our stores.

Local in-home deliveries
Local delivery on our trucks is offered for $49 to customers who live within 30 KM of our stores. Delivery charges for extended delivery areas within 60KM are $79.

This service includes placement of your furniture within your home and removal of all packaging. Extra charges of $49 may apply for assembly or installation. On the day prior to your delivery, a Backyard & Veranda delivery coordinator will phone you to confirm your delivery, and advise you of the delivery window within which your delivery will arrive. The Backyard & Veranda delivery team can call 30 minutes in advance of the delivery team's actual arrival, for those customers who find it more convenient to meet our delivery team at the delivery location. Please provide this number to the Backyard & Veranda delivery coordinator when they call.

Long distance deliveries
A third party carrier is used for furniture delivered outside the local delivery zone of our stores. This service does not include set up and placement of your furniture within your home and removal of all packaging. The minimum charge for long distance delivery is $149.00. Additional charges apply for heavy items such as large sleeper sofas, entertainment centers, armoires, dining tables, and beds. Delivery fees for multi-item orders are calculated based upon the total weight of the order

Long-distance deliveries are most economical when multiple items are delivered at once. Prior to the delivery, a coordinator will phone you to schedule your delivery appointment.
